Wheel question

Hey guys I'm about to pick up a new set of rpf1's . Can't decide weather to go 17x8 or 17x8.5 both +35 offset . Just wanted to know if I needed to do any modifications to fit these . Also wanted to know.if 17x8s looked aggressive any feedback is appreciated. As you can tell I don't know jack shit about wheel as specs lol

I'd go with at least a 17x9 rpf1 just because I am not a fan of the convex (bubble face) of the lower width rpf1s.

Width: >=9in = flat face or semi concave
Width: <9in = bubble face

You should be able to fit 17x9 +35 fine

17X9 may rub depending on your suspension set up. Slight roll may be required or camber kit. At least that was the case for me.

You'll definitely need to roll the rear fenders. And depending on how low you are the front might rub. I have 17x8" +35 mm with 225/45 tires and lowered to just about 1 skinny finger gap in the front and I can hear it rub in the front if the car bounces at all from uneven road surface when I make spirited right turns.

I personally like the concave look of the <9" wide RPF1s but granted only on the 02-04 DC5s cause they have the similarly rounded bubble looking dips under the headlamps.

Sorry to hijacking your thread. I'm new hear and whenever I try to start a new thread it never gets approved by the admins

I'm trying to purchase some new tires (215/45-17) on ebay for my 05-06 rsx type s wheels. I know they use 215/45-17 or 225/45-17. I found some (link listed below)but when I enter my car information in the compatibility section it shows that the tires are not compatible. Should I ignore the message? Sorry first time buying tires on ebay.
