If we both go we will need to camp next to each other this time. Drink beer all night. That's what I did last time. Some evo guys and a del sol parked next to me and we just started talking to each other about our cars and then drinked all night.

Sounds good man, I definitely plan on going again. Most of us stayed at a local hotel last time. How hot was it at night?

Wasn't hot at all. Had a nice breeze. I just recommend not to use the showers there. I stepped in it and saw a roach wanting to shower with me. I said fuck no. Lol. I drove to the pilot gas station 3 miles down the road and showered there. $12 and it's nice and clean. So I did that every night. Well worth it.

There are a couple of threads on here. I tried to run 3" and 2.5" without success, 2" seems to be easier to fit. I ended up buying TL-S Brembos.

How you like them bad boys? What pads?

Probably going to do the same although I don't have any complaints with my current set up.

Great so far, pads look brand new but I have only ran them so far at VIR which is not a very harsh track on brakes. I have Dominion Raceway coming up this month, then VIR again in May for Hyperfest, then Summit Point in June which will really test them as that track is hard on brakes.

It was annoying having to modify the calipers for correct piston orientation.

You brakes are fine for those 40 minute HC races?

The clearance at full lock is like next to none to clear the crank and pulley. I gotta wait for my 2" tubing to come in and see what I can do.

Haven't even raced yet. Still have to get safety equipment. They are 20-25 minutes races. But my Hawk 70s haven't given me much issue at all.

Hows the modification go for those calipers to work with our set ups?

In our region (Mid Atlantic), the Saturday race is 25 minutes and the Sunday race is 40 minutes.

The piston orientation is wrong since the TL calipers sit in the front and ours sit in the back. I had to flip the bleeders to the top, open up the calipers to drill, tap and plug with loctite shut the internal crossover tube, and add an external crossover tube on the bottom. I run Hawk DTC60s as I am still on street tires.

ahhh I don't want to do all that. Maybe Ill see if Evan will do it for me at SHG.

60/70s are great. Surprised how well they do compared to Carbotech and Cobalt pads. I prefer hawk over both.

Just put in the winning bid on a EP82 Starlet. Fuck this Integra. It was time to walk away from it a year ago.

Finished my 2inch ducting and also got some 235/40 Federal RS-RR to test out on the track. I used to run Hankook Evo2's but I was overdriving the tire and they start to chunk. I didn't expect to reach that level in just 3 track weekends, but it happened. Oh well. I hope my brakes won't overheat as much because of my better traction for shorter stopping distances and cooling with the ducts. I haven't really experienced fade, but my Stop Tech street pads would get destroyed in 2 weekends, most likely due to heat. They're really cheap and stop pretty well for how much they cost, they have a decent MOT of 1300F. Any other cheap pads that compare that aren't hp+ because they aren't as good. Stop techs run me $90 for front and rear lol.

Not to sound like a dick, but from the tone of your post, it sounds like you drive like an on-off switch: full pedal or no pedal.

I trailbrake into corners to get the car to rotate and then I maintain steady throttle until I can power out. I have some videos on my YouTube and I am always open to some pointers. Same YouTube name as my clubrsx name.

Alignment and car specs?

Just watched the newest video on your channel. I couldn't really see nothing wrong from where I am sitting. Was good, clean driving for the most part. Only thing I noticed that was obvious was that you carried too much speed for your car into some of the tighter turns which resulted in you plowing through them. It worked well for some, but messed up your lines for others, but I doubt that's news to you.
